Second arrest made after woman killed in Riverview shooting
ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV) --Charges have been filed against a man accused of a fatal double shooting near the end of September in Riverview.
On Sept. 23, Riverview Police officers found 49-year-old Toni Stroder and a man shot in the 9800 block of Lilac Drive around 10:15 p.m. They were both taken to the hospital, where Stroder died. The man had non-life-threatening injuries. The St. Louis County Police Department said it is believed the shooting happened after an argument between two groups of people.
Ramon Lapid, 45, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of armed criminal action. He was arrested on October 4 and was being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
On October 17, officers arrested DeSean Pearson for charges of second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, one count of stealing a firearm and one count of first-degree assault.
