Man charged in North County road rage shooting
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis County man is facing multiple charges Thursday following a road rage shooting from February.
St. Louis County prosecutors have charged 28-year-old Joshua Halley with first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held at the St. Louis County Jail on $75,000 cash only, no 10% bond.
According to a St. Louis County Police probable cause statement, Halley was involved in a crash in the 2700 block of Dunn Road on Feb. 27. An argument began between Halley and the other person involved in the crash and Halley began to display a gun, according to police.
Police said the victim began to drive away from the scene, and then Halley shot at the vehicle multiple times. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the arm during the shooting.
According to police, Halley admitted to shooting and turned his gun over to police.
