Man killed, woman injured in St. Louis shooting

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis homicide detectives were called after a double shooting Thursday that left a man dead and a woman injured.

According to police, officers responded to the 2600 block of Rutger around 12:40 p.m. Thursday for a report of a shooting. There, they found a 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman outside suffering from gunshot wounds.

EMS transported both of them to the hospital where the man was pronounced dead. The woman was listed in critical but stable condition.

The Homicide Division is handling the ongoing investigation.
