Woman donates adult tricycle after watching Surprise Squad

UNION, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A woman donated an adult tricycle to Rainbow Abilities Center after watching a Surprise Squad.

Joy Rick had the tricycle in her garage after her doctor suggested she do more exercise. After watching the Surprise Squad, in which an outdoor recreation area was built in Union for the Rainbow Abilities Center, she decided to donate her trike.

“My cardiologist wanted me to do some exercise, so we bought the bike, I tried riding it and got out of breath. So, we had seven gears put on it, that didn’t help,” she explained. “Decided I can’t ride it, and then I saw your presentation with the Surprise Squad and how happy those folks were when you gave them the tricycle, and told my husband that you know what, I’d rather give it to them than try to sell it or anything else.”

First Alert 4 picked up the trike from Rick’s home and delivered to Rainbow Abilities Center for the adults there to enjoy.
