ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Stray Rescue of St. Louis and Ted Drewes Frozen Custard are teaming up on 314 Day at the Ted Drewes on Chippewa Street to celebrate the day while finding homes for adoptable dogs.

First Alert 4’s Meghan Drakas sat down with Katie Grana from Stray Rescue of St. Louis, Melanie Young from Ted Drewes and an adoptable puppy named “Waffle House” to talk about the details of the event.

The event starts at noon and ends at 2 p.m. Saturday. People will be able to meet adoptable dogs, get doggy dishes for half off and buy a micro concrete for $3.14.

There will also be shirts for sale, with a portion of each sale going to Stray Rescue, and a donation drive for Stray Rescue, where people can bring items from the organization’s wish list.
